Hoarding Help

Hoarding disorder is recognised in the DSM5 as a mental illness but the right approach to tackling these issues is still a hotly debated issue.

At C4F we believe every case is individual and has its own individual causes, needing its own individual approach.

C4F offer help with hoarding related issues, we are not therapists, we are not psycologists we do not have a cure or a magic bullet, what we offer is help !.

We believe that working with clients with kindness, showing dignity and respect for both the client and there belongings can help put clients back in control of their lives and restore quality of life as well as improving health and safety.

Our staff are all trained in Health and Social Care as well as trained to deal with hoarding issues, all staff have an enhanced DBS check and are trained to spot the signs and help clients who have become victims of scams/rogue trading.

C4F are working in partnership with Herts Help and The Smash project to help clients whose lives are affected, using a kind compassionate and caring approach putting clients in control of their homes and its contents.
